Maternity Session at The Hoxie House

One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to watch families grow. The last time I saw this family Rory was two, and now she is going to be a big sister! To celebrate their pregnancy, we did a maternity session at The Hoxie House in Sandwich. 

The Hoxie House is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, house on the Cape. It's one of my favorite places to go for sessions and clients love it too. The light is beautiful, especially at sunset and we are able to get a good variety of portraits year-round here! 

This maternity session was also particularly special because it was the first one Kendall and Scott have done. They really wanted to celebrate their family and document these final days as a family of three. We did a mix of family photos, photos of Just Kendall and Scott, and then some photos of Kendall with Rory. There was a lot of laughter, dancing, exploring - and most importantly, memories made. 

It won't be long before baby boy joins them and I cannot wait!
